Our Hospitals are a not-for-profit, regional medical centre providing a wide range of advanced medical technology and highly skilled care. Based in the south of Thuringia, the German "Green Heart", and surrounded by a charming landscape we operate acute care hospitals, retirement and nursing homes, out-patient nursing service, the regional rescue service as well as a catering service.

As one of the first hospitals in the region we were certified by KTQ, the Quality award for German Hospitals which is based on the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organisations.

Every year we provide full in-patient care for about 14,000 patients and we see more than 25,000 patients in our out-patient departments. However, you will experience our individual and familiar atmosphere immediately.

With our variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures we became more than a regional healthcare centre. The minimally-invasive therapies represents one of our most significant speciality areas in Surgery, Gynaecology, as well as in Orthopaedics. We are also able to use this technique for total Hip Replacements at our facilities. Our Orthopaedic department is well known for its excellent prosthetics. In addition Physical Therapy, Movement Training, Individualized Nutrition-Dietary Services, Logopedia and Ergotherapy are available as well as Dialysis treatment.
